Packing up for Bali......

Can't believe Christmas just pass.... Had a quiet X'mas eve with Barry, Karen and frens with Turkey.... as usual me busy eating till totally forgot to take pictures of the food.....
On Christmas day went to Sunny's fren Noel for yummy Indian food luncheon. such a lovely guy got us a set each from Body Shop (all the way from SG ok...) Later at night dinner with family at some Begger Chickem place in Jalan Hulu Kelang... some 'sangkala' place yo....

The only thing I'm not ready for X'mas is the the pressies. The most important thing yet so last minute. My bank account is so dramatically 'ILL'..... I surpass my budget last month and if I spend anymore I won't have any moolah for Bali next next week.

I splurged massively on M.A.C last week, and splurge on accessories again. *grinz*

I'm seriously digging on old dresses ofr Xmas and New year's Eve......

December supposed to be a month full of holiday spirit, hitting the stores to stock up X'mas pressies and getting hair, facial, nails and toes done.

Me irenekay, hasn't done any of those. 1st gotta drag my ass to book a facial.
Since lotsa my students are/were away, I'll be sooooo busy replacing their classes here and there......so no time to SHOP!!!!

As for mani and pedicures, I'm doing it in Bali, cheaper!!!

Time to dig out old x'mas clothes....

Been an accessories freak lately, especially those long chunky beads which is soooooo 1950's... usually i'm quite particular bout my accessories, basically my taste is UNIQUE but those Russian inspired really got into my list...check out my latest winter craze...

My personal fav would be that 'blue bola(ball)'.... I've been limiting myself not to indulge with too many of those cuz the season would end pretty soon but I cant help it...... and I luff my chunky silver necklace. One my student ask me, "teacher why your necklace got so many 'things'?"

The black one goes well with most of my necklace so didn't bother shop much of it, can't seems to find a nice looking one....

Got embarass while getting it....but worth it. Really keep my earrings coordinated.

Don't you guys luff the fur!!??? Before Peta comes pouncing and throwing pie on me, it's blardee faux fur. I swear I won't kill a mink for my indulgence. I'm an animal lover so I stick to synthetic (or other word by socialite, cheap) fur. The furthest I'll go is buying cosmetic brushes made outta pony or squirrel's tail. Check HIM out...He's into fur frenzy....

Dragon-I

I thought of doing food review for Dragon -I @ 1U, but somehow I only remember to take picture of it when I finish gulping down alllllllll the food.... *grinz*

Not much of a food reviewer......
Anyway, I did manage to remember to take the pic of the La Mian.......




Food was good.....we 3 girls had
1)La Mian- already malaysian-ise...taste diff from the one I tried in Shanghai
2)Xiau Long Pau- very very juicy
3)Wall Dip(something like xiau long pau)-becareful when you eat it, the juice might jus squirt outta no where
4)some egg plant dish-tantalising
5)crispy eel- sweet and sour....good for snack, great for non-eel lover.... cuz you dun even taste the eel
6)sesame prawn- they should serve with tartar sayce
7)Tong yin (stuff with black sesame) -yummy.....
8)mango sago for dessert - quite sourish but I like....very generous helping of mango

Bill came out to RM115.... but worth every cents.
